The Clemente Course at OWL360 offers a transformative college-level educational experience for those facing economic hardship. This program empowers students to further their education and careers, to engage in their communities and to realize their dreams. Students who qualify can access free tuition, books, childcare and transportation.


High School Completion Diploma Program Through Peninsula College

Description:
Peninsula College’s HS+ program offers adults the chance to earn their high school diploma in as little as 10 weeks. Through their program, students have the potential to turn the knowledge they have acquired through a variety of life experiences into high school credits that move them closer to a diploma.

Description:
Intelligent is a website that provides a database of hundreds of community colleges, selecting the best ones based on factors like cost, graduation and retention rates, rankings, and more. This guide also includes an overview of what students should know about community colleges, the pros and cons of these institutions, and answers to frequently asked questions from Blanca Villagomez, a program counselor and coordinator at UC-Irvine.


Jefferson Clemente Foundation

Description:
This foundation is focused on supporting culture and education in Jefferson County for people 17 or older. No college experience is needed and people aren’t required to have a high school diploma or GED. All the tuition, books, course materials, childcare, and transportation cases are free to qualified students. The only requirement is to be able to read a newspaper in english, willingness to do the assignments and complete the course.

Description:
Jefferson County Library District offers service at the main library in Port Hadlock and at the Bookmobile which serves eight communities in the eastern part of the county. Services and materials include over 190,000 items, reference services, electronic databases, Internet and wireless Internet access, and information and recreational programs for all ages, including Early Learning programs for children.


OCEAN Open Doors

Description:
The new Open Doors program is focused on Career Ready skills and supporting young people to find career pathways that are meaningful and will lead to living wage jobs. It can also be a program to support high school diploma completion (but that is not a requirement).
