If you are a homeless youth, (up to 25 years old) this housing assistance page offers you safe avenues for to find: places to stay warm in the winter; temporary housing; placements in long-term housing; and lots of folks to help you figure out what your next best steps might be in getting sheltered.

Bayside Transitional Housing

Description:
Offering transitional housing units in two hotels and tiny villages in Jefferson County. Can take people ages 16 and up. Worth applying and known for having long wait times to receive housing units.

Description:
To schedule an appointment for housing services, use the link listed above. New Hope/YAHP: Designed for young adults 18-24 and emancipated youth; Includes supportive services, diver-sion, specialized case management, and short term rental assistance (6-12 months). Independent Youth Housing Program: Serves young adults 18-24, who have been a dependent of the state; Provides diversion, specialized case management, and related housing costs. Outreach Services: Serves youth and young adults 12-24; Provides supportive services, such as resource referrals and navigation, intensive case management, diversion and outreach in the community. Homeless Prevention Diversion Fund: One-time, flexible funding that needs to lead to a housing solution in 30 days.

Description:
The Pfeiffer and Parliament Houses are affordable housing projects for young adults 18-25 that are experiencing homelessness, are at risk of homelessness, or fleeing an unsafe environment. We provide self driven case care for their desired outcomes. We support education, employment, mental health and social wellbeing to assist in guiding emerging young adults into sustainable living. Serenity House

Description:
Youth services team program serves anyone 12-24 experiencing homelessness to achieve their goals with housing, education, and employment. They offer a youth warming center during the month of December with warm food and drinks from 2pm-4pm in Sequim, Port Angeles, and Forks. Email: youth@serenityhouseclallam.org


The Nest - Youth and Young Adult Warming Center

Description:
During hours of operations, people 26 and under can hang out at the Nest and get access to resources while they warm-up. Free snacks and warm water are available as well as other hot drinks for purchase.
